Balls, rarity and the FORGE
Every ball carries a luck value and a rarity tier. FORGE merges balls you own into a rarer one, so a stack of low-tier balls is upgrade material, not dead weight.
Official key art - the ball itself: entire, glow and all, above the payout row.
Balls are the only thing you own that really matters. A ball is rolled, used on a drop, and either becomes luck you spend or material you forge. That makes every ball a decision: keep it for the luck, or merge it into something rarer.
What a ball actually carries
| Property | Why it matters | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Rarity tier | Sets the ceiling on how good the ball can be | What you can forge it into, and roughly what it is worth |
| Luck | Tilts a drop toward the middle JACKPOT slot | Whether a drop pays the jackpot or a small multiplier |
| Quantity | Two balls of a tier are forge material | Whether you can climb a tier or stay stuck |
The developer's own line is the important one: better balls mean more luck, and more luck means more jackpots. Rarity is therefore not decoration - it is the stat that decides how often your drops find the middle of the board.
The FORGE, in plain terms
FORGE combines balls you already hold into a rarer ball. Three consequences matter:
- Low-tier balls are not junk. They are the input. A board full of spare low balls is a forge queue waiting to happen.
- Merging is the only upgrade path to rarity that does not cost Robux. Gamepasses and shop purchases change the run around your balls; forging changes the balls themselves.
- A rarer ball is worth spending on a real drop. Do not feed your best ball into a board you do not understand yet.
Keeping a ball pool that climbs
- Forge while you play, not at the end. Merging as soon as you can is what stops a pool from filling with the same tier.
- Keep one good ball in reserve for the FINAL CHANCE. The last drop of a run deserves your best luck, not whatever is left over.
- Do not forge your best ball "one tier up" if the run is live. Finish the run first, then merge in peace.
- Judge a new board by your pool. A board only helps if your balls can find the jackpot on it.
How this fits the rest of the game
Rarity and luck feed everything else: jackpot hits at the FINAL CHANCE are what unlock collections, coins bought with those hits fund boards, and boards decide whether a rare ball's luck actually converts. If your drops feel wasteful, the fix is usually one tier up in balls rather than another gadget.
